We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to play a key role in the next stage of our school's development. Governors wish to appoint an experienced and highly effective Catholic leader with the vision, ambition and drive to inspire others, support our continued improvement journey, and ensure that every child and member of staff achieves their very best.
As a practising Catholic, you will bring vision, enthusiasm and a deep commitment to Catholic education. Working in partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership team, you will help shape a culture of high expectations, ambition and inclusion. You will build strong and positive relationships with pupils, staff, families and the wider community, ensuring that Christ remains at the centre of all we do. Together, we will nurture children academically and spiritually, enabling them to fulfil their God-given potential and become confident, compassionate members of society.

An exciting opportunity has become available at Sacred Heart to join our teaching staff, initially on a fixed-term basis. The role will cover the maternity leave for a teacher for the remainder of the school year 2026-27 (from January) and will be based in Year 1. There is a possibility for the role to become permanent thereafter, depending on a permanent vacancy being available.

Midday Assistant (MDA)
Start asap - 10 hours per week / 2 hours per day: 11.30 - 1.30pm
Term Time only - 44 weeks per year (term time only does not include inset days)

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated people to join our friendly and caring school. As we look to extend our play provision for our children, you will join a team who are responsible for supervising and supporting the children during lunchtime - both inside and outside. First Aid experience would be an advantage.
